Imidazolidinyl ureais an excellent antibacterial preservative in wide range of liquid and powder type of products including creams, lotions, shampoos, hair conditioners, powders, wipes, and towelettes. It exhibits the following features and benefits: broad spectrum antimicrobial activity and good compatibility; safe and effective for both leave-on and rinse-off products; non-irritating, non-sensitizing and non-toxic; stable over a wide range of pH(3-10); highly soluble in water; can be added at a wide range of temperatures(£¼80¡æ); synergistic with other preservatives, especially parabens and/or Iodopropyny Butylcarbamate(IPBC); the addition of EDTA will enhance its activity; the recommended use level is 0.1~0.4%.
